FAQs
What is Bloom?
Bloom is an online community for adults 50+. Bloomers gather to learn from experts, connect with each other, and redefine a new phase of life together.
How do I meet people?
We'll match you into a small group of like-minded people to discuss the subject of each session.
How are you going to determine who is like-minded with me?
This improves and we get to know you. As our team and the Bloom community grows, we'll begin matching you based on time-zones, transition stage, interests, and breakout room discussions.
What kind of people will I meet?
People over the age of 50 who are transitioning into retirement and who share your interest for learning, having meaningful conversations and meeting new people.
I can’t log in. How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password by clicking on the “forgot password” button on this page. Once you enter your email, you’ll be emailed a password reset code. You’ll then be able to create your new password. (Here’s a quick video that shows you how to.)
How do I watch past sessions?
When you join Bloom as a member, you get access to a library of all of our past sessions.
How do I join live sessions?

Do I have to attend an orientation before signing up for sessions?
It is not mandatory to attend an orientation — you are welcome to sign up and join sessions without. However it is highly recommended you attend a New Members’ Gathering so that you can learn all about how Bloom works and how to get the most out of your experience. Our new members have found it very useful and fun to attend our orientations too!
How many members do you have? Where are they?
We have over 6,000 members from all across Canada and the world.
