Ever wondered what happens to your brain when you have Alzheimer’s? Would you like to be able to still live well and feel empowered if you have Alzheimer’s?
In this session, Dr. Joyonna Gamble-George will provide a general overview of Alzheimer’s disease and how it impacts your brain health and share a few useful tips on how to take control of your life with Alzheimer’s disease.
Joyonna is an expert science advisor for doctors, psychologists, nurses, and other scientists all across the United States that study chronic heart and lung diseases, HIV, and mental health. She also conducts research related to brain diseases and disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, anxiety and stress-related disorders, and substance use disorders.
