About the speakers:
Dr. Richard Sztramko is an Assistant Professor at McMaster University and practices both Geriatrics and General Internal Medicine in Hamilton, Ontario. Through his work with patients with dementia and their families, Dr. Sztramko saw that there is a desire and need for online education about dementia developed by experts in geriatrics and this inspired him to create iGeriCare.ca.
Dr. Anthony Levinson is an Associate Professor at McMaster University and is a Neuropsychiatrist practicing Medical Psychiatry in Ontario. As the Director of the Division of e-Learning Innovation in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. Levinson exercises his passion for researching and developing online solutions to deliver health educational experiences. IGeriCare provides a unique opportunity to leverage his expertise in mental health and learning technologies to create an engaging approach to dementia education.
