As we get older, we may come to believe we have little left to learn about life, but a sense of wonder, an openness to surprise, is key to successful aging. In this Bloom session, Retirement coach Jean Sheppard will share her reflections on the ways a sense of wonder fosters delight—and optimism.
What you'll learn:
The importance of an open mind. The value of optimism and the similarities between the aging brain and the creative brain.
During this 1 hour session, you'll have the opportunity to explore this topic in a small group of 5-6 other attendees. It'll be a chance to connect and enjoy thought-provoking conversation that is moderated by a fellow community member. It's a welcoming and safe space for all.
